Palm Harbor, FL--Surveillance Technology Incorporated is known throughout Tampa Bay as a leader in surveillance system design and installation. A consultative approach is always used to help clients determine what the best surveillance solution is for their current and future needs. This was showcased with the successful completion of a system upgrade for an existing client, Food Wholesalers. A large provider of seafood distribution to Tampa Bay restaurants, Food Wholesalers has seen their business grow exponentially since the original installation of their Tampa surveillance equipment by Surveillance Technology Incorporated. An upgrade was necessary to ensure that their facilities and food products were protected with the most cutting edge technology available.
This surveillance upgrade began with the decision to outfit the facility with UHD 4k 8 megapixel CCTV cameras. Surveillance Technology Incorporated is the only company currently able to provide this option as CCTV, as all others are deployed as an IP system. IP cameras severely limit the future viewing resolution of an image. An IP camera compresses a recorded image inside the camera before sending it on to the Network Video Recorder (NVR). Once this image is compressed it cannot be uncompressed from the NVR to later enhance video quality or zoom to a particular item of interest. Surveillance Technology’s UHD 4k 8 megapixel CCTV cameras provide an uncompressed image directly to the DVR for storage with no loss in future viewing quality. Three 8 megapixel UHD CCTV bullet cameras were mounted to cover high value areas. The inside of the facility was outfitted with four 8 megapixel UHD CCTV bullet cameras featuring 8x zoom with zero distortion. These four cameras provide such high resolution that Food Wholesalers is able to clearly read the labels on their boxes as far as 50 ft away. The resolution is so high on these Tampa surveillance cameras that they require a 43 inch 4k monitor to be able to display the live views or captured recordings at there native resolution. These UHD DVR's are capable of handling up to 12 megapixel cameras and can accommodate up to 24 Terabytes of storage internally.
Surveillance Technology Incorporated is a company with more than 45 years experience with Tampa surveillance cameras and provides businesses and residences with security cameras and access control.
