Known as “Tampa Bay’s Largest Keg Retailer”, Party Liquors & Fine Wines Superstore supplies area party goers with a variety of beverages, accessories, and cigars. Party Liquors previously partnered with Surveillance Technology (STI) for surveillance solutions at multiple locations in Tampa and Riverview and requested a similar installation at their Land o’ Lakes location. Here, STI upgraded the property’s existing 2 megapixel business video surveillance system, which was installed in 2015 and still relied on now-outdated SDI technology.
A total of 48 cameras fill all available channels on their three new 16 channel H.265 4K DVRs. STI replaced a variety of fixed lens, turret style cameras with 4K resolution for broad views of internal retail and storage areas. They also replaced twenty nine turrets with 2.7mm – 13mm varifocal motorized, autofocus lenses for tighter views of the store’s five main aisles. The property has 16’ ceilings, requiring cameras with sufficient zoom to provide close shots without sacrificing resolution. Lastly, STI added four new cameras to the beer cave and two in the walk-in humidor, demonstrating the environmental range of these cameras, which operate in demanding climates. All 48 cameras can be viewed via one unified camera management software both locally and remote by ownership and management personnel.
