A Fixed Focus Lens is not adjustable; the focus is set at the time of manufacture, and remains fixed. It is usually set to the closest distance the lens can be focused while keeping objects at infinity acceptably sharp, so that the depth of field ranges all the way down from half that distance to infinity. This is acceptable for most cameras used for capturing images of humans or objects larger than a meter. Theses Fixed Focus lenses are available with Manual or Auto Iris and in general start at 2.2mm and go up to 50mm
