Clearwater, FL March 27, 2016–One of Surveillance Technology Incorporated’s biggest projects this month centered on the new Goodwill Clearwater Superstore. Goodwill has been providing life changing services to individuals and families in the Tampa area for years, along with safeguarding their products and customers by using the best surveillance cameras available. This brand new store required a robust installation, including a total of four, sixteen-channel DVRs connected to a massive collection of 17 pan-tilt-zoom cameras and an additional 35 fixed cameras. The cameras were strategically located to cover all of the high priority interior and exterior areas of the store, including the cash registers, points of entry, office areas, loading docks, fitting room entryways, and parking lot.
Strategically placing cameras in these areas allows for virtually every corner of the store to be surveilled, and the large quantity of visible cameras acts as a deterrent for would-the thieves. The entire installation took over 8,800 feet of cable, making for one of the biggest installations for Surveillance Technology Incorporated in past month.
