AAA Storage’s San Antonio, FL location represents their third collaboration with Surveillance
Technology, Inc. (STI). This property offers storage units ranging in size from 5’x5’ to 10’x40’.
They’ve accomplished a first in the industry by offering drive-up access to climate controlled
units, which are normally found only in interior units. Two turret style 4K cameras were used in
the lobby with 2.8mm fixed lenses ideal for broad views, which are connected to an 8 channel
H.265 4K DVR. Another turret camera with motorized zoom was installed outside the office,
along with one offering a tight view of the vehicle call box. The last two cameras are equipped
with 3.6mm lenses and 24/7 color capability, which captures color footage even in night vision
mode. These cover the main entrance and the gated entrance, capturing footage of vehicles
moving in both directions.
One of AAA’s key value propositions is security. They advertise 24-hour surveillance and
electronic gate access as a competitive advantage. They provide access to clients 15 hours a
day, 365 day a year. The owners, who reside on property, can view all footage in real time on a
55” 4K TV.
