Avalon Clearwater – Access Control Clearwater

Avalon at Clearwater is a resort-style community of luxury apartments, offering an array of amenities. Property managers looked to Surveillance Technology, Inc. (STI) to upgrade their existing DoorKing telephone system for vehicle entry and expand the access control system to include several additional amenity areas. STI installed new readers and electromagnetic locks at five pool gates, the fitness center, and the pool bathrooms, which are connected with trenched cables and conduit throughout the property. With a variety of shops and restaurants within walking distance, the complex also has pedestrian gates with relatively heavy traffic. Surveillance Technology was able to integrate Avalon’s existing database for vehicle entry with new access rights for the common areas and pedestrian entry points, making it easy for management to handle all credentials via one system.
