The unprecedented start to 2020 has taught us many things, not the least of which is the critical importance of groceries. Supply chains became a lifeline, and the dependability of companies like CF produce became more essential than ever. Through their wholesale market in Plant City and warehouse in Dover, Florida, CF Produce offers pre-cooling for local growers, cold storage, and transfer services.

In March, 2020, this family-owned business wisely chose to partner with Surveillance Technology, Inc. (STI) for the installation of a new DVR surveillance system at their Dover warehouse. In the first phase of this project, 8 cameras were added to the property, connected to a 16 Channel H.265 4K DVR by over 1,300 feet of cable. Two fixed turret cameras provide broad views inside the warehouse’s bay doors, while 6 bullet cameras with varifocal lenses monitor the exterior of the same bay doors, along with the property entrances and an additional building. The management team can monitor activity across the location in real time at their newly installed 28” 4K monitor.

The second part of this project included 6 additional cameras trained on the property’s freezers, general storage and office areas. Two motorized-zoom bullet camera were further added for coverage on the side entrance gate and side lot. CF Produce takes pride in building great relationships with vendors, which is evident in their multi-phase partnership and a service plan from STI for their new surveillance system, resulting in 3 years of coverage on parts & labor.

We recently hired Surveillance Technology to replace our aging legacy access and security system with a new Proptia platform, and working with Luis and his team was an excellent experience from start to finish. While the project went a bit over schedule due to unexpected complexities in our old system, they stayed with it until everything was done right, and made sure the final result was solid and reliable. They were professional, responsive, and easy to work with, and we would highly recommend Luis and the entire Surveillance Technology team to anyone needing a new Proptia access control and security system, especially if you’re replacing an older system.

If we could give 10 stars we would. From the initial request for information through the follow up period after installation, Surveillance Technology has exceeded our expectations. Our HOA was in need of a new gate entry system and new surveillance cameras, and it needed to happen quickly. Luis Rodrigues, one of the owners, responded to our request for information the same day, scheduled an appointment for a consult, showed up as promised, and really listened to our concerns. We explained the need for a quick turnaround as well as the needs for the community. Not only did he respond with a fair quote, but he also provided us with different options from which to choose. He was willing to attend a HOA meeting to present his company and also to listen to concerns from residents. He took some of these concerns and came back with solutions. He helped us streamline the data process to make the installation time as quick as possible. An installation date was set, and the team arrived on time. Every single technician was polite and professional. Josh, one of the techs, stayed throughout the process for several days ensuring things worked properly. As with any new system, there are bound to be kinks and learning curves. The issues were with the Liftmaster system itself not with Surveillance Technology. Both Luis and Josh were always responsive and helped us get through those as well and stayed on the manufacture until issues were resolved. Bottomline, the system is now working great. The majority of the community has navigated the new system and things are running fine. It was truly a pleasure having a company that honored their word and delivered as promised. That is rare these days. After years of frustrating service from other companies, Surveillance Technology really stands out.

Great company to work with, Luis and all the guys did a fantastic job. I am with the HOA at this condominium complex here in Clearwater Fl., we did our homework and checked out a lot of different companies. Surveillance Technology came out far ahead of everyone else, Luis really knows his stuff. We ended up with 14 cameras and all the gear that goes with it. Placed all around the complex, can bring it up on our computers and take a look around everywhere at any time. Very good stuff. I wouldn't think twice about bringing them in on any other project that comes up. I have had numerous projects done by STI around the Tampa and Orlando areas. They have installed cameras, NVRs, conduit, wiring, and access control system. Jamie, Josh, and CJ are highly professional and knowledgeable installers. Luis is great at finding the right solution at a fair price.

Our company put in a complete 9 camera security system more than a year ago with 2 big screens, recording DVD, etc. . Surveillance Tech was fast, efficient and delivered great value. We have had one service call for a failure of the slave screen (our stupid fault--a house keeper turned off the switch--very embarrassing but Luis didn't even charge us for sending out a tech to push a button. He should have.) All and all, a great company. As a result, they are busy so be patient. They are always out in the field, actually working.

Our Homeowners Association was seeking bids for a new camera system for two of our locations. From our initial dealings with Luis, we were impressed. He took the time to answer numerous questions and offered several different options. When we had narrowed it down to two suppliers, Luis came out and gave us a live demonstration on the caliber of cameras that we were purchasing.

Surveillance Technology Inc. was quick to schedule an installation date for us. Our install team, lead by Jamie, did a seamless install. They were extremely polite, quick to do the install and ensured that our property was left immaculate.

Jamie went over the workings of the system and ensured that we had a full understanding of the system.
