September 2020, Harbour Island
Located in the heart of Tampa, ParkCrest Harbour Island is a premier waterfront community of 336 condominiums and a longtime client of Surveillance Technology, Inc. Built in 2005, this nine-story building has over 80 cameras. Prior to working with Surveillance Technology, ParkCrest had implemented three distinct brands of surveillance equipment. As a methodical strategy to stay in budget and minimize disruption to residents, Surveillance Technology (STI) recently provided an upgrade aimed to eliminate one brand, with the ultimate goal of operating solely on an iCatch platform. In addition to installing a 16-channel H.265 4K DVR, STI replaced 13 analog cameras with new 8 megapixel, 4K cameras along with a 2.4 megapixel license plate recognition (LPR) camera. This upgrade not only gets ParkCrest one step closer to achieving a unified platform for all their cameras but greatly increase the video resolution from their previous solution.
ParkCrest Harbour Island is a highly desirable property for several reasons, including its proximity to downtown highlights. Residents also enjoy the perks of living in a secure community, knowing their loved ones and property are safeguarded by a surveillance system regularly maintained by Surveillance Technology, Inc. with the latest available technology.
