Tampa International Airport Project – Commercial Grade Security Camera System Tampa

Surveillance Technology Incorporated is proud to announce the successful completion of a new commercial grade security camera system in Tampa for Tampa International Airport (TPA). The airport is served by more than twenty major airlines as well as four regional airlines and two air cargo carriers. Safety is the utmost concern during air travel for passengers, staff, and resources. This latest installation will help to assist authorities in the security of Tampa Airport’s fuel farms and fuel storage areas.

For this sizeable project, Surveillance Technology Incorporated upgraded Tampa International Airport’s existing analog surveillance system which secures their on-site fuel farms. The airport’s previous analog system that covered all points of entry and fuel storage areas was extensively upgraded and additional camera locations were added. To ensure that TPA has top tier security in place, Surveillance Technology Incorporated built out a new control center room and installed high definition (HD) cameras. The Tampa Airport Project features a new 16 channel HD digital video recorder (DVR), and 12 2.4 megapixel HD cameras. The HD cameras have a wireless signal to offer control of two gate cameras. All of the newly installed cameras include 240 foot smart infrared capabilities. A single 6×60 mm long-range camera was outfitted in a strategic location to offer close up views as needed. 3,900 feet of gel filled direct burial cable was run through the property to connect all of the newly installed equipment. Airport security personnel now have access to this new state of the art camera system from multiple access points on the airport campus.

    We have used Surveillance Technology at several of our commercial shopping centers and office buildings. The install crew are very clean and work quickly, so minimize any disturbance to tenants. Cameras are clear and capture the view we need. I would recommend them for businesses and homes.

    The whole STI team was a pleasure to work with. Luis helped plan the whole setup of the surveillance positioning for full coverage an the installation team was very professional and efficient. STI was also the most economical choice as we shopped around to 5 different companies in the area. Will definitely use them again for my next location.

    I have had numerous projects done by STI around the Tampa and Orlando areas. They have installed cameras, NVRs, conduit, wiring, and access control system. Jamie, Josh, and CJ are highly professional and knowledgeable installers.     Our company put in a complete 9 camera security system more than a year ago with 2 big screens, recording DVD, etc. . Surveillance Tech was fast, efficient and delivered great value. We have had one service call for a failure of the slave screen (our stupid fault--a house keeper turned off the switch--very embarrassing but Luis didn't even charge us for sending out a tech to push a button. He should have.) All and all, a great company. As a result, they are busy so be patient. They are always out in the field, actually working.

The team that came to do the install completed their work early and followed all safety requirements on our job site. After the initial install they have been very responsive to our calls when we have questions. My company is looking to utilize there services at some of our other locations.

    As a 30+ yr biz owner myself, I know a thing or two about quality of service. It truly starts with being responsive when a client calls you. I have no regrets choosing STI. Very professional and honest organization that has been around for 20+ years in Tampa. Our HOA community wanted a modern gate access entry system and improved RF auto tag technology. STI had the experience and knowledge to address our needs and even suggest a few things we didn't consider. Their team also went the extra mile and addressed some aesthetic concerns we had as well. Overall, honest and fairly priced security experts.

    Recognized as a Historic Landmark Resort in the St Petersburg downtown area, we were looking for the best in the surveillance camera and equipment system business. We talked with Luis from Surveillance Technology Inc, and seemed like the right choice for us. He was very professional, honest, promised us prompt response and even took the time to walk the entire property. I am so happy that we choose his company for our surveillance needs and professional advice. Luis has been with us since 2021 and has made several installations. The results have all been outstanding clear picture, easy viewing and storing.I would like to especially point out an installation done this week at our Marina. His wonderful techs led by Jaime, performed a cable installation where a "dinghy" had to be used. Fighting hightide and waves they managed to install approximately 1 mile of cable and deliver the best video viewing on all cameras. I will recommend Luis and his company to anyone looking for surveillance equipment hands down.

    Although very busy, this company sent out their technicians within a reasonable amount of time.. The technicians Jamie and Josh were very professional and friendly. Jaimie identified and rectified my problem I had with on line visualization of the camera views and playback. He also assisted with making sure our phones were able to bring up the same views. One hour later....done. PLUS I received a call the next morning to answer any questions I may have had. Thank you!!! BTW,, Louis is the person that answers the phone and is extremely helpful and phone friendly with curteous professional communication. KUDOS

    Our Homeowners Association was seeking bids for a new camera system for two of our locations. From our initial dealings with Luis, we were impressed. He took the time to answer numerous questions and offered several different options. When we had narrowed it down to two suppliers, Luis came out and gave us a live demonstration on the caliber of cameras that we were purchasing.Surveillance Technology Inc. was quick to schedule an installation date for us. Our install team, lead by Jamie, did a seamless install. They were extremely polite, quick to do the install and ensured that our property was left immaculate.Jamie went over the workings of the system and ensured that we had a full understanding of the system.We would highly recommend Surveillance Technology.
