The Frog Pond Restaurant in St. Pete Beach, FL has been serving their famous eggs benedict and gigantic omelets to Tampa Bay diners for many years. For the recent re-opening of their second location in downtown St. Petersburg, they turned to locally owned Surveillance Technology Inc. (STI) to customize the business surveillance system for their St Pete location.
The property needed access control at the rear entrance for employees and specific vendors. Additionally, management wanted all of their electronics to be located at the back of the store. STI moved the existing IP based surveillance system from the front, adding a new NVR at the back, along with racks, electrical circuits, and new cabling. Three 5-megapixel IP cameras were added to the dozen already in use, effectively closing gaps in coverage at the entrance and on the patio. Every inch of the property is now under surveillance. STI also provided non-surveillance technology support by relocating the audio system and speaker wiring, in addition to moving the network switch, wifi access points, and all registers connection points to the rear of the restaurant.
Surveillance Technology is an easy choice for surveillance and access control solutions; but their breadth of expertise allows them to solve a number of other needs with an array of services and equipment. Much like The Frog Pond itself, they have a diverse menu to choose from to satisfy the needs of every client.
