If you’re looking to spend a day of leisure in Hudson, FL, there’s no shortage of activities at Veterans Memorial Park. When choosing to cool off on the splash pad, join a pick-up game of volleyball, or shoot some hoops, visitors know that guest safety is front of mind for the team at Pasco County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources. The county recently hired Surveillance Technology, Inc (STI) to replace an aging analog system with the latest in surveillance technology to oversee the property. STI installed a new 16 channel H.265 4K DVR camera system to record footage from a variety of cameras covering all areas where residents may come to learn and play.
4K turret style cameras have been added inside, eight of which use 2.8mm fixed lenses for broad views of public spaces such as the gym, meeting rooms and hallways. An additional camera provides closer, crystal clear footage of the entrance with a 2.7mm – 13mm motorized, autofocus lens.
4K bullet style cameras also use motorized, autofocus lenses to offer views of outdoor play areas, including the softball and soccer fields, splash pad, and playground. These exterior cameras provide coverage of high liability areas as well, such as the parking lot and pool.
There is never a dull moment for Pasco County residents taking advantage of the Veterans Memorial amenities. The park is designed to provide athletic, recreational, cultural and educational opportunities for the Hudson community. Lessons in pickle ball, dance, karate or cheerleading can be enjoyed knowing that Pasco County and Surveillance Technology, Inc, have taken extreme care in designing a surveillance system with resident wellbeing in mind.
