Hillsborough County, FL November 1, 2017—As the leader of surveillance systems and installation in Tampa Bay, Surveillance Technology Incorporated is proud to partner with the Westchester Condominiums Home Owners Association for this latest endeavor to provide them with a commercial video surveillance system in Tampa. Surveillance Technology completed Phase 1 of a new surveillance system for the condominiums in November of 2017, with a Phase 2 on the horizon.
Westchester Manor Condominiums HOA’s community is located in North West Hillsborough County near Upper Tampa Bay and Westchase. Safety is a paramount priority for both current and potential residents in the community. Deterrence through visible monitoring allows board members and residents to know their tenants and guests are safe at all times. In order to ensure that their community is secure while also keeping their HOA premiums low, Westchester Condominiums HOA partnered with Surveillance Technology Incorporated, who designed a complete surveillance system to be installed and completed as a multiphase project.
To begin Phase 1, Surveillance Technology Incorporated installed a 16 channel 4.0 Pentabred HD DVR (Digital Video Recorder). It is capable of handling up to a resolution of 8 megapixel cameras should Westchester Condominiums HOA need to upgrade at a later date. The clubhouse, laundry room, office, and swimming pool areas are now monitored by nine motorized zoom turret cameras. In order to cover the front parking area, and the dumpster area to discourage illegal dumping, Surveillance Technology Incorporated mounted two 4 megapixel bullet cameras with 180 feet of smart infrared. The rear parking area is also now equipped with two turret cameras offering 90 feet of smart infrared to secure the area. Additionally, cameras were installed at the main entrance gate to capture both a broad view and license plates of all vehicles exiting the complex.
