The Clearwater Housing Authority is expanding their offices to include a new building located in Corporate Square this July. In this new 4-story building, they will occupy the 1st and 4th floor. Surveillance Technology Incorporated has installed a high definition surveillance system with complete access control at all interior and exterior points of entry. This system includes two high definition 4.1 megapixel Digital Video Recorders (DVRs) with one 16 channel and one 8 channel. All common areas and office suites as well as hallways and points of entry are now monitored by 17, 4.1 megapixel cameras. An additional 4.1 megapixel camera covers the front parking area. The Corporate Square office was also equipped with three video door phones, each with handheld receivers and a color monitor for instant two-way communication. To further enhance the buildings security, access control devices were installed in the boardroom as well the main entrance and two service entrances. Additionally, Surveillance Technology Incorporated installed access control devices requiring authentication to 40 doors, securing all offices individually. All exterior and interior doors were installed with standard access control to allow the Clearwater Housing Authority to schedule door openings, schedule for holiday hours, and all other access based on employee hierarchy.
