As the second part of a long-term security strategy, the First National Bank of Mount Dora
recently partnered again with Surveillance Technology, Inc. (STI) to integrate the best and latest
access control technology in two of their buildings. To secure the perimeter of the bank, as well
as an adjacent building, a system was installed to allow entry to the bank only through
employee-granted access. All entrances to the bank are now under video surveillance and
constantly monitored from multiple viewpoints by employees inside the buildings. Bank
employees are able to grant quick and convenient access to clients, with the assurance that
quality footage is already being captured. This is in stark contrast to traditional bank security
solutions, which often provide video at only one frame per second, often recording only once
an alarm button is hit. With the new access control solution implemented in January 2020,
employees and clients of First National Bank of Mount Dora can rest assured that no one will
gain access to the bank without an employee permitting entry.
