Surveillance Technology, Inc. measures success, not by gaining a customer’s business initially, but by building a long-term relationship. Having said that, recently earning the business of the Brookfield Homeowners’ Association was a definite success. The HOA board at this lakefront 55+ community put Surveillance Technology (STI) through a stringent vetting process. Following an initial meeting to assess the association’s needs and goals, STI submitted a proposal for consideration. The board followed up with several of STI’s prior clients, which had been provided as references. As one of a short list of vendor finalists, Surveillance Technology demonstrated their system for the board and were ultimately selected as the community’s new surveillance provider.
STI removed and replaced some dated equipment as part of the HOA’s 11-year old system. The new security system installation will allow the HOA to thoroughly cover areas of concern, with specific focus for unique spaces. Broad views are used in the clubhouse interior, patio, pool and entrance gate, while tighter views are used for the jacuzzi and tennis courts. Camera styles are also tailored to a given space. The pool and tennis courts received turret style 4K cameras, while bullet style 4K cameras were used for front parking. In all, STI replaced eight cameras and added another three. Two offer the latest 24/7 color technology, which captures color footage even in night vision mode.
At the community’s secondary pool, STI replaced the existing DVR with a new 8 channel H.265 4K DVR. Four cameras were replaced with turret style 4K cameras with 2.8mm fixed lenses, ideal for broad views of the pool, patio, entrance gate, and jacuzzi. Varifocal lenses offer the preferred tight views on the sitting areas and the exterior entrance to the pool. Feeds from all cameras on property can be viewed from a 28” 4K monitor.
Brookfield’s Homeowners’ Association performed rigorous due diligence to ensure their selected provider was fit for the job. They verified Surveillance Technology’s license, insurance, and client references. STI prides itself on the ability to withstand this type of scrutiny, knowing that lackluster competitors will be exposed, making the decision to partner with Tampa Bay’s premier surveillance and access control provider an easy one.
