St. Petersburg, FL April 2017–Surveillance Technology Incorporated is proud to announce their latest upgrade and retrofit for Central Marine. In April, a complete surveillance system overhaul and installation was completed at Central Marine’s Service Center in St. Petersburg. Central Marine Service was established in 1987 and would go on to be the premier marine service center in the Bay Area, becoming the standard for marine sales and service.
Central Marine’s business quickly expanded and in the mid 1990’s, Central Marine added boat dealer to its offerings to meet the demand of local buyers. In 2009 Central Marine expanded once again, this time by opening a state of the art Parts & Service Center. Surveillance Technology Incorporated was tasked with ensuring the safety and security of the Central Marine employees and assets by installing the best surveillance camera system in St. Pete.
Surveillance Technology Incorporated began this latest project for Central Marine by replacing their existing analog 16 channel DVR to a new system with two Pure Digital 16 channel SDI 1080p high definition (HD) digital video recorders (DVRs). Originally, the facility had 32 cameras covering the grounds. These were upgraded to bullet style with smart infrared offering zoom coverage out to 120-240 feet using 2.4 megapixel SDI HD cameras. These state of the art cameras cover all 5 entrance gates. Additionally, the cameras monitor delivery interaction points, all warehouse areas, maintenance and shop areas. The 2.4 megapixel HD cameras also cover the service desk and showroom to provide extensive security coverage.
Surveillance Technology Incorporated is a company with more than 45 years experience with Tampa surveillance cameras and provides businesses and residences with security cameras and access control.
