The First National Bank of Mount Dora has been serving the banking needs of its community since 1925. Although owned and operated by local bankers for almost a century, First National is no small town, old-fashioned bank. They anticipate their client’s needs with new ideas and innovative tools, while maintaining the treasured relationships they’ve formed in the beautiful city of Mount Dora. In this way, they are a lot like Surveillance Technology, Inc., the Tampa Bay provider of their state-of-the-art Mt. Dora surveillance system.
First National’s primary location is comprised of 4 distinct areas. In their main building, a new 16 channel H.265 UHD DVR stores footage from a variety of cameras offering tight shots on all points of entry, the safe entrance, and teller interactions. Broad views are also captured of both lobbies. A dozen turret cameras with 5 megapixel lenses and an ATM dome camera keep watch on the building, while a bullet camera captures license plates in the parking lot.
A second building maintains its own 16 channel H.265 UHD DVR with 8 turrets covering the entrances, elevators and lobbies on all three floors, as well as broad views of the parking lot and additional license plate monitoring. The bank’s drive-through building hosts a slightly smaller DVR, with only 8 channels but the same cutting edge H.265 compression. Tight views of the walk-up window supplement broader views of the lobby, teller & drive through lanes.
The bank’s detached employee parking lot created a unique surveillance need, which Surveillance Technology met with an independent 4 channel UHD DVR and 4 bullet cameras. By placing multiple cameras on the same pole, Surveillance Technology attained a 360-degree view of the parking lot. When coupled with a camera aimed up the sidewalk, First National can maintain a clear view of employees coming to and from the bank.
