In May, the homeowner’s association of the Treviso community in Apollo Beach, FL contacted Surveillance Technology, Inc (STI) with two particular problems – the persistent presence of unwanted solicitors, and cars striking their security gates. To provide the HOA with clearer insight on both dilemmas, STI installed two 5-megapixel broad view cameras to monitor the call box and gates at the community’s entrance roundabout. The cameras offer a bird’s eye view from atop an 18′ commercial grade camera pole. In addition, a license plate camera provides detailed information about who may be violating the association’s non-solicitation parameters. The images from these cameras are sent wirelessly through the community’s wifi network to a 4-channel H.265 UHD DVR. This DVR security system’s industry-leading compression allows Treviso to store footage 70% more efficiently than past systems. Surveillance Technology installed a DVR Surveillance System in Apollo Beach at Treviso Community to monitor all visitors and contractors that enter the gated community.
