Located on the north end of the East Lake Corridor, Keystone Palms is a luxury subdivision featuring executive style homes on generous lots. As a gated community, it is imperative that Keystone Palms provide an effective access control system for the safety and security of its residents. In order to repair prior damage done to their existing system, board members engaged the services of local access control experts at Surveillance Technology, Inc. (STI). To design a system merited by such a community, STI used Viking gate operators and a Door King telephone entry system accompanied by RF transmitters for secure yet hassle-free entry for residents and their guests. The Viking gate solution mitigates the negative impact of moisture experienced with the prior gate mechanism. The new Door King telephone entry system uses a cellular modem for communication, which eliminates the possibility of an electrical intrusion via a traditional phone line.
