Surveillance Technology Inc. (STI) has built a long-term relationship with Palma Del Mar, including a multi-phase upgrade to accommodate the community’s unique needs. The HOA by-laws were written in a way which requires the upgrade of existing surveillance equipment before new equipment can be added. As a result, Palma Del Mar purchased all of the planned surveillance equipment for this St Pete location up front, but has delayed portions of the install as part of their strategic use of funds while adhering to their by-laws.
During the first phase, STI replaced the property’s existing DVR with 4K H.265 capabilities and replaced six existing cameras in common areas with 4K technology. In the subsequent phase, STI ran 625 feet of conduit and cable in the parking garage, in addition to six cameras for visibility of multiple floors of parking and ramps. The pool is now also under surveillance, connected by cable from the main building.
In all, STI has upgraded two of the seven buildings on the property and has quoted additional phases of the planned work. This project is an excellent demonstration of Surveillance Technology’s consultative approach to every project, which includes a thorough understanding of the client’s needs and unique parameters. There is no single surveillance package that will suit every client or every property. STI has a broad inventory of equipment and an extensive repertoire of solutions to meet your one-of-a-kind needs.
