In their fourth project with Sanwa Food Group, Surveillance Technology, Inc. (STI) continued to upgrade their commercial camera system and installed a 16 channel 4K NVR along with two 16 channel integrated Power of Ethernet (POE) switches at the company’s retail market in Seminole Heights. The indoor farmer’s market carries fresh produce, refrigerated and frozen goods, and grocery items.
This surveillance package upgrade included twenty five cameras. Seventeen existing cameras were replaced in the grocery store, while six new cameras were installed alongside all of the grocery aisles, with two more added to enhance visibility in the office area. These 4K 8-megapixel IP cameras are equipped with H.265 compression at each camera, rather than at the recorder. In all, this portion of STI’s work required 700’ of ethernet Cat 6 cable to connect the equipment throughout the warehouse club style property.
Surveillance Technology has a proud history of building long-standing relationships with businesses in its hometown and afar. This partnership has grown Sanwa’s surveillance package to dozens of cameras spread widely across a large property. Sanwa can view a live feed from all of the cameras – new and old – from one digital platform, with thoughtfully defined access for each authorized user.
