The Palms Car Wash has a motto, “Life is better under the palms.” We say life is better under surveillance! When The Palms owners of Wesley Chapel reached out to Surveillance Technology, Inc. (STI), their system was outdated and warranted an upgrade to the latest technology including both DVR & NVR installation, color turret style cameras, & UltraMax IP cameras.
After assessing the unique operating conditions inside the car wash, STI determined they would need to approach this installation the way the client approaches the cars they clean and protect. The Palms offers services ranging from a simple wash to full service packages and carry exclusive products to protect their clients’ vehicles from the harshest of elements. It was therefore imperative that STI provide equal protection and quality at The Palms property.
STI replaced twenty one IP cameras with 4K UltraMax 24/7 color turret style cameras. These top-of-the-line cameras offer better optical lenses and more advanced image sensors than most other products on the market, and offer two-way audio. Seven bullet style cameras were also replaced with UltraMax IP cameras. To store footage from these cameras, STI installed a 32 channel NVR and 16 channel DVR, both offering H.265 compression and 4K resolution. Two 32” color TVs were added, allowing The Palms staff to view all cameras from the office.
